Though Cash App has several popular payment features, Cash Card is most popular among users. Cash Card is a free debit card that Cash App offers to its users. Once you set up a Cash App account, you can order Cash Card without paying anything. Go to your Cash App dashboard and tap on the Cash Card tab on the home screen. Tap on 'Get Cash Card' and follow subsequent steps. You need to provide your complete mailing address. After placing a successful request, your Cash Card will reach your address within ten business days.



 Now, receiving Cash Card is not enough, you need to activate your Cash App card to enable it for payments. There are two methods through which you can activate Cash App card. You can use QR Code or CVV method to activate the Cash Card as per the convenience. Follow the instructions below:

 

•         Open your Cash App and tap on the Cash Card tab on the home screen.

•         Click on the image of the Cash Card.

•         Tap 'Activate Cash Card'

•         Tap OK and allow Cash App to use your Camera.

•         Now, scan the QR Code printed on your physical card properly.

•         Your card is ready to use.

 

If there is any issue while activating the Cash Card with QR Code, you can go without QR Code. In this method, you have to enter the CVV number and expiry date instead of scanning the QR Code.

 

When you activate Cash App Card, you will also become the owner of a Cash App virtual card. You can't have Cash App virtual card until you activate the physical Cash Card.

 

If you just activated your Cash App virtual card, you can find the CVV number in front of the card. Simply tap on your Cash Card tab and click the Cash card image. You can see the Card number, CVV, expiration date in front of the card on your screen. Cash App virtual card is a newly added feature on Cash App. It is equally beneficial in making payments online and offline. You need to enter the card number to make payments at the store.
